Death - his name is crossed out on his birth record and on the birth
records of children. His death not recorded in death register. A
paragraph in birth record indicates a "horrible thing" happened.
Lisbeth Zahawi helped with the translation of the following:

Hoc horrendum patiavit
factum d[en] 16. Apr[il] 1721?
Caspar, diser hat sich ....
mit einem Stich in die Kehle, hernach
mit einer Flinthen an d[en] untern
Kifer gesetzt erschossen und als[o] selbst
....... da er meistentheils die
Zeit seines Lebens..... der schËandlich
und verderblichen [Er?]otia zugebracht
.... Ëuberalda von ihm [Kindbet ???] war
............. ex Vtro vita.. it
.......

Apparently, Caspar ended his "disgraceful and corrupt life" by
stabbing himself in the throat and then putting a rifle to his lower
jaw. This was a suicide, and as such was considered a mortal sin in
those days. The person would not have been given a Christian burial.
Therefore, his name would not appear in the death record. I cannot
find any hint in the church records of Rosenfeld as to what drove
Caspar Jaeger to take his own life.
